How to Be a Good Friend

A friend is a person who shares and is kind to one another. By doing this you will be recognised from your mate as being a good friend. If friendship brakes apart, your future will be nothing but loneliness and misery.

Sharing is an excellent way to start by getting you a buddy. Having fun with one another is one key to becoming a devoted friend. Sharing means Kindness at the same time. Not only you have to share but be kind when you're playing your game.

Supporting gives your classmate(or not your classmate) the strength, energy or a boost to keep on going. An example could be in a sport. Your companion will see you as an amazing person when he/she is supported.

If your partner can’t trust you, he won’t see you as a friend. Honesty must be inside you or you can lose your friendship. Being honest is part of being a good mate.

Having an awesome friend can be better than anything in the world. Make sure to get yourself a mate.

WALT: explain to your reader what being a good friend means

Being Fit

Being Fit:

Did you know that your body is a amazing machine? It just needs to be used everyday to keep it working well.

Exercise keeps your body strong and fit. Fitness means having the energy to work and play and do all the things you want to do easily. Your body cannot store fitness, so you need to exercise regularly to stay fit.

Exercise makes you feel and look better. It keeps your body a healthy weight, it helps you relax and sleep better and when you exercise. Your body produces chemicals called endorphins which go to your brain and make you feel good.

Exercise for strength makes your muscles stronger so you can work different parts of your body without feeling weak. Exercise for stamina makes your heart and lungs stronger and helps blood float easily around your body.
Stamina is the ability to exercise for longer without getting tired or out of breath.

So you need to move it!

What are Capitals Used For

WALT: Write an explanation telling people what capital letters are and when you use them in writing.

Upper case letters of the alphabet are bigger than lower case letters. Capitals can only reach up to the upper line. They are not always the same shape as the lower case letters e.g Qq, The bigger Q is not the exact same shape as the little q.

At the start of a sentence, Capitals are needed. You know when to add a capital because uppercase letters are added after full stops, question marks and exclamation mark. E.g “Lovely day isn’t it “ said Joe. Joe’s friend replied “Indeed”.

Upper case letters also start at the beginning of Geographical places, for example Auckland, New Zealand is a city and a country or Europe a continent. Places like Skycity or a town called Glen Innes also needs to start with capital letters.

Big letters are also used at the start of a day or month, for example: 15th October, Wednesday. Also they start at the beginning of holidays like Christmas, Easter and Labour day. You need a capital at the start of a date otherwise you won’t know the exact date e.g “ I am arriving at Australia Sydney on december 28th saturday for easter”.

Titles of movies, games, shops, companies, schools, TV, books, brands and airlines also have capitals. If upper case letters weren’t sawn at the start of the word, you would not know if it was a movie, shop, game or a airline. For example air new zealand, if there weren’t any capitals then who will know what airline it is or if point england school did not have any capitals, who will know which school it is.

Now that you know what capitals use them! To make your reader understand what you are writing.
