A Frog Adventure

In my literacy group we were told to pretend that we were these kids that went to highgate farm, we were also told to send it to our parents.

Dear Mom and Dad,

In the holidays me and my friends went to high went to highgate farm with Nana and Poppa. There was a secret place that was a pond with frogs. We had found it we got our togs and bring Nana and Poppa. There were dozens of tadpoles. It was time for dinner.

 

My Stem Leaf

A Stem leaf is like a tree. The stem is the branch and the leaf is a leaf. so it is like, at the one you put a 12 for how many what ever you do and if turn it side ways that is for you to figure out leave a comment please.

There are more people that did 12 sit ups. 

There were more people that did sit ups around the 10s.

there were little people that did 32 or 55 sit ups.

New Zealand vs India Cricket

It was a great day for Cricket that is why New Zealand is vs India. There were millions watching this match. It was an incredible sight and in the 1st Innings the scores were.

   New Zealand 503/10 (121.4)

             India 202/10 (60)

New Zealand won the 1st Innings but can they still keep up the work to win. In the next round it was India tried to keep up but New Zealand already won.

Now I am going to tell about some players.

1.Peter Fulton is 34 years old and has shown the world that even if you have a big age you can still become a cricketing icon. I give him a 9/10.

2.Hamish Rutherford was named in the twenty20 New Zealand squad to battle england in ANZ series. That is why I am giving him 8/10.

3.Kane Williamson, At 23 years old Kane has certainly achieved a lot at the top level already. That is why I am giving him 10/10.

4.Ross Taylor, This talented batsman has had an amazing rise to the top and is set to be a key player in this season’s line up for the BLACKCAPS. I am giving him 9/10

5.Brendon McCullum, He is a world leading wicketkeeper, who comes from a strong cricketing background. Brendon McCullum is truly making his mark on the international cricket stage. I am giving him a 10/10.

Acrostic Poem

My reading group was told t create a Acrostic Poem of a place called Highgate. This is what we have to do.

Create an acrostic poem for the words HIGHGATE (using one key word for each letter).

- For each word write a small sentence why you chose this word, e.g. H - Holidays: with Nana and Poppa every holiday.

A Start to a new school year

A start to the new school year

I woke up and noticed it was the start for a new school year. I was waiting over maybe a month to hear witch class I was going to be in. What happens is the whole school hears witch class they get in. I went to Point England School.

At breakfast I had toast and some milk. I changed my clothes got my bag ready and I got a record time of I think 5min. Buzzing with excitement I went into the car ready to go.

I was chosen to go in class 7 they don’t say room anymore. My teacher was new Mrs Jacobson. I was glad to be in her class.

Morning tea had pasted and then we were learning about getting information from other classes like are there more boys than girls. Sport was next we played midnight, duck duck Goose and teapot.

After Lunch time we had name art so our teachers could know our names. We learned about primary colours and complementary colours then it was home time.

It was a fun day at school I had a wonderful day.        

Sky Tower

Sky Tower

It was 1st January 2014 My family was guessing what my sister was wondering what she was going to get for her birthday. Almost knight and we were planning to take her to the sky tower in Auckland. Ounce we told her she buzzing with excitement.

We spared sometime at the downtown park, we played a ton of games.Tag,Racing,Climbing,

4 vs 1, Riding an eel and balancing. Play time over fright of heights awaits.

We had a little bit of trouble finding a parking but we found one. We went in the entrance and what a amazing entry, we headed to the access of the sky tower. My dad payed 65$ dollars. Up we went in the elevator. When we arrived 1/2 of the sky tower levels I was amazed of what I saw, it was such an incredible view.

My sister took a thew photos and then we looked in the binoculars. I could see everything close up
