What is Technology? Well to me Technology is something that makes human's life's better by entertaining them as well as helping them with their job, ounce someone asked the Year 7 and 8 students a question if technology is good or bad, soon we learned that technology can only be good if you choose the right thing to do with technology. Today, Miss Clark gave each of us a book and told us "Ounce you have finished reading the book write a blog post about what technology is and 5 facts from the book you have learnt". The book I read was called Simple Experiments with Screws. The five facts I learnt from this book was that nuts, bolts, and screws all have screw threads, the second fact I learnt was that to make a screw thread work you have to turn the screw clockwise to make it go deeper inside the wood. 3rd fact I learnt was that a screw is made up of a shaft with its screw thread, it has a head at one end and a sharp point at the other end. The 4th fact I have learnt is that there are threads inside of a screw cap and the neck of the bottle. Last but not least, the final fact I have learnt is that Vehicle wheels are attached t wheel hubs by strong bolts. Hope you enjoyed and please leave a comment.T

Technology in WW1
Today we had a special guest. A few days ago, our principal Mr Burt came while Mrs Telea was talking about what we are going to learn, Mr Burt told Mrs Telea that when the time is right Mr Burt will come, and talk about Technology used in WW1. Today he came.
He first told us about that his as well as the office lady Mrs Flavalle grand dads fought in the war. He told us a story about his grand dad and that he saw the first plane to all the way of seeing the moon landing. Mr Burt's meaning to this story is that his grand dad lived long and saw most of the technology invented in those times.
He then told us the main reasons to why the war started. 1/4 of the death of over 16 million people are the responsibility to technology. At the beginning he asked us a question of weather technology is good or bad. He told us both sides were afraid to lose so they spent billions creating technology and as soon as one builds the other does the same.
At the end he came with the question again. He then explained that it's about how you use it. Then it will be good. Hope you enjoyed my text and please leave a comment.

I am back with another responding to a letter from WW2 but it's not kind of like a text. Watch the movie below to listen to the two soldiers. Hope you enjoy and please leave a comment. Here is my response. I also learnt that in WW2 they shot their little brothers in the leg to send them home.
Dear Jim O’Dwyer and Eric Henry,
My name is Aaron Khan and I am a Year 7 student from Point England School . I am writing to you to express my gratitude for what you have done for our country and people, during WW2. You have fought for our country to protect it.
I understand that you want your family to be safe and to have responsibilities as the eldest brother. I am glad you have a smart brain that to instead punch your little brother on the head instead of shooting them on the leg. I heard entertainment was top on the list, good to see you people taking an active role in it.
I thank you for fighting for our country. I feel what you have done to your little brother was right. One thing I still don’t know, did your brother came back home and, We will always remember you.

Alphabet Multiplication 3
Responding to a letter
Today for writing, we watched a video then responding to it. The video was about a Tongan who was part German in the army forces. He requested to join the British and NZ army forces but they interned him because he was part German meaning he had to fight for Germany. He was trying to prove that he was Tongan but they rejected him again. Finally he sent the government of NZ a letter to go back to Tonga. We had the task to act as the government and respond. Here is mine response. Hope you enjoy and please leave a comment.
NAME _Aaron________________
ADDRESS:Beehive,Molesworth Street Wellington, NZ
POSTCODE 6011
DATE :1942,11th November
Dear Gustav,
I am very sorry you were interned as well as your uncle and that your beloved father died when you were very young. I understand that to be part german but born in tonga and raised by a tongan mother then joining the New Zealand army forces but then interned is really though when a person is partly from the enemy's culture. Very sorry the commanders did not understand. I trust you now because you have proven your rights to be part of the NZ army forces as well as the british. I grant you your freedom to go back to Tonga. Happy sailing.
From Aaron, Amazing government of NZ
