Disaster Struck Titanic
Titanic Ended in Disaster
It was a dark quiet night on the Titanic. The sea was calm no sounds could be heard except for light waves. Bax Smith was one of the crew members shoveling coal into the boilers to power up the prepadles, The smell of smoke could only be smelled. Suddenly water burst through the wall giving attention to Bax Smith that the word sink can make panic and disaster.
Bax rushed down to alert the passengers that water was going to rise but the first door that would be opened would be in class 3. They were locked in and would not be able to get out, for 3rd class was the cheapest price to get to New York. Lifeboats were lowering out the windows to give attention to awake from being drowned also saving lives. After opening every door water pushed Bax out of the window floating ashore to the iceberg lying down alive. At 4:00 the rescue boat arrived saving Bax and a few people. This disaster showed a lesson to every owner who owned a boat.
Island Canoes
My Group was told to make a mini map about Island canoes and how you make them, what is needed and is the boat important why. I used Google Drawing. So far I have learned a lot and so will. Hope you enjoy and please leave a comment. Click on the image to larger it.

Titanic Reashearch
Titanic’s weight is 46,000 tons also it had 29 boilers and burned more than 650 tons of coal every day. Titanic is 882 metres long that is almost a kilometer long. This is how wide it is 92’ wide. Titanic is quite tall 175’.
The biggest cause of the Titanic sinking is because, they were pushing the Titanic to go at 25 knots so there will be proof of Titanic being the first vessel in the world to reach New York in record time. Suddenly disaster struck, they were heading right for an iceberg. The Captain turned the ship but it hit the iceberg. She was designed to not sink only if the 4 apartments were filled with water but 5 were. Titanic was doomed.
The iceberg struck the starboard side of the ship. It was expected that there was going to be a huge hole on the hull. The hole was somewhere about 12 square feet. The Iceberg did not struck the hull also buckled the plates damaging a sequence of compartments.
Titanics captain name was Edward Smith or Captain Smith. He was born 27 January 1850 and died at the age of 62 in the Atlantic ocean sailing the Titanic. There has also been a statue of him in England.
The purpose of making Titanic was to beat the world record to reach new york and also so people return to their loved ones or be on a vacation. Also that country would like to have build a massive ship in fact that was the biggest moving thing in that time.
They were heading for New York also they had chossed a long course. Many people wanted to return to their beloved ones like the captain, he was retiring to return to his wife. Again an important person have chosen to ride the Titanic, they were I think queen and king maybe and they were eager to return to their people.

Time Travel in Water time
Chapter 1: The Time Travel Machine
It was a dark stormy Night on a saturday night. The air was calm and normal that smelled like nothing. No sound could be heard. Jack(a boy the age of 10 also smart) was fast asleep tucked into his bed feeling comfortable until he awoke to a strange noise on the balcony. His house was surrounded by water like always but his eye spotted something in the sky. He got alarmed but before he could even talk he noticed it was a time travel machine. He rushed down the stairway slam the door open, he fainted by a shock of lightning. He shivered on the ground while the device started over him.
Chapter 2: The story of how the device arrived
He awoke in a strange electronic device machine. “ Welcome to my time travel machine BEEP sorry I hit you BEEP my travel time machine is no ordinary machine it travels in water BEEP you are able to see sea creatures, sea dragons or even shipwrecks like Titanic BEEP”. Jack was impressed but scared “ Uh one question what is your name and how did you get here” said Jack confused “my name is MAC BEEP I used to work in space BEEP I was the owner of Jimmy Jaspers BEEP he went crazy with me BEEP he destroyed sea life BEEP so I got him to touch a button to send me to earth BEEP now I may serve you if you don’t destroy the sea life BEEP” answered the computer “ don’t worry I won’t destroy the sea life but first can we go see the titanic”.
Chapter 3: Titanic past has been changed
With a flash they were transported to the year 1912 on the vessel Titanic wearing strange clothes. MAC had turned into a regular person, “ ok first I am going to alarm the captain that there is going to be an Iceberg up ahead also I got proof” said Jack excitedly “NO you should not change the past leave the past as how it is” MAC shouted at Jack but Jack ignored and insisted to tell the captain. That night there course was changed and the past was now changed then Jack realised his mistake. The past will change the future, he asked MAC for forgiveness but it was his job to fix things how they were however MAC added that Jemy Jaspers had a key to the problem. The course was setted to Uranus Located to Jimmy Jaspers base.
Chapter 4: The Plan
Once they arrived a map was shown on the shield, Jack recognised guards were guarding the base so before deactivating the shield there will always need to be a plan. MAC turned both of them into guards, they approached cautiously to the control room. First they will disable the power to make a confusement on Jimmy Jaspers which will lead him here by then MAC and Jack were on the ceiling to grab the key and get there buts of of there. The plan worked perfectly and the past was changed. However MAC was given to scientist for experiments for sea life. This adventure would never be forgotten by Jack.

Malawi and New Zealand food menu
This is about food in Malawi and NZ. I have made menus on google drawing. Also I have compared there food to our food. This shows people the difference of how they live and how we live. So for example usually Malawi people have mostly eat maize(corn) when we have a variety of food to choose of. This shows how people living in Malawi. School over there is quite low. 92% for school enrolment. . Hope you enjoy.
Conclusion:
In Malawi people have quite little water and to us we have plenty of water coming up a pipe into our house. When in Malawi women would have to go to a well and get the water. People in Malawi grow food when to us we have a supermarket that we can go to to buy food supplies. The good thing about growing is no need to waste your money.

My Holiday 2
We went on a platform over the water, we tested how high the water can go with rocks. It was such a magnificent day. Suddenly we spotted a dead jelly fish on shore. My brother pointed it with a stick, the stick was covered with slime.
Here is a link about jellyfish. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jellyfish.
It was time to go home. I thought about my day. Next time we come here we’ll bring our swimming togs.

My Holiday
My family were planning to go to Clevedon, Clevedon is surrounded by farms, livestock and the sea. After we arrived, our first stop was a park. we decided to go somewhere more comfortable like the sea so we went near a marae and found a park.
We got hungry so we finally ate. We made a salad. After our stomachs were full we played a game of soccer. We had lots of fun even our dad played. Soccer is a game where you use your feet, head and chest.
In soccer there are two goals lined up. Equal the teams then to start the game of two people face each other in the middle. Throw up the ball then kick the ball in the goal. There are also outs like when you kick the ball out of the line that is called an out that is when you can use your hand to throw in the ball in to your teammate. Goalies can touch the ball to stop it from scoring a point. After an hour it was time to go home but we stop by a beach.

Immersion Asemmbly
Immersion Assembly
I woke up by the sound of my brothers and sisters eating breakfast, holly cheese I just remembered today was the first day of Term 2, at Point England School. I changed my clothes then ate my breakfast and put my lunchbox in my bag. After what seemed like forever we set out to go to school.
As I arrived I saw a board with this term's topic but that's a surprise for later( I am not going to tell you yet). The second bell had rang and soon the hall will be filled with students. When everybody was settled Mr Burt, our principal announced this term's topic - "I like to move it, move it." At the end of the Immersion Assembly I thought about my favourite item and least favourite item. One item that was confusing was team three's. There item was about colours and light, like how the rainbow was made but that was quite easy the rest were way too overboard. I wish I was a year 3 or 4 so I could learn more about colours.
What got me hooked in was Team 1's item about being a zoo keeper and man they are gonna learn a lot. Also I picked up some words saying that tomorrow, 6th of may they are going to travel to Auckland zoo and find out how to be a zoo keeper and they are going to compare the equipment there and some of the year 1's home collectibles.
What my team was going to learn about was flotation. Like what floats and doesn't also displace(when weight is put into water, that amount of water rises). Buoyancy means , for example a stick can float. We also got to answer questions then have a prize.
Immersion Assembly was fun and I wonder what next term's topic is.
